VGA Awards: Prince of Persia Debut

More game news from the spike VGA Awards, the first trailer for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands has been released. It shows off what seems to be a more Hollywood type game than the first 3 games in the series. The prince himself looks more like Jake Gyllenhaal, the star of the upcoming Sands of Time film.

You will be glad to know that the game still has its trade make platforming, combat and of course the sands of time. That gets me excited, considering the last Prince of Persia game was a great mix of platforming and combat and the graphics were excellent. I still hold it as one of my favourite games of the generation

To be honest this game could go either way, the last Prince of Persia game was fantasic and the last game in the Sands of Time series, The Two Thrones, was also a great game. The game has history in its favour but the dreaded Movie Tie in curse seems to be rearing its head here. Is this one game that can overcome it? We will find out in 2010.

Check the Trailer Below
