We Support an R18+ game Classification

It seems only yesterday we were removing zombies from their brains and battling fearsome were skags in the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. But all ready Gearbox has graced us with another delightful expansion to their hit FPS and RPG mash up Borderlands. Zombie Island was pretty awesome and had some sweet new bad guys to blow to pieces, will Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot match the quality?

From the sound of things maybe not. That’s not to say Mad Moxxi doesn’t sound like a delightfully nutty character, sort of a cross between a Mad Max vixen and a Tim Burton wet dream, and her three new Underdome Riots don't sound like a lot of fun, because they do. But it doesn’t sound as robust an expansion as Zombie Island.

There’s more than just the arenas, a loot bank sounds to me like one of the games most exciting new features. Hopefully it allows you to transfer loot between you’re characters so you can twink out your lower level ones. The level cap has also been boosted from 50 to 52, not a big jump but that’s two more skill points to sink into one of your killers. There's some bad news though, the Riot arena kills, according to recent previews, don't go towards your experience which is very lame, otherwise the Riots sound like ideal ways to boost your level. As it is they're custom made grind zones without the benefits. Hopefully this was only the case in early previews and the final pack will include experience.
